Dr. George Par, MD is a fellowship-trained, board-certified vitreoretinal surgeon specializing in diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous. Dr. Par graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and earned his medical degree from NYU School of Medicine with Research Honors.
After completing his ophthalmology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical Center, Dr. Par completed a prestigious 2-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Rush University Medical Center / Illinois Retina Associates in Chicago.
Dr. Par is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. As the founder of Desert Retina, he is committed to providing the highest quality, personalized retinal care using the most advanced technology available.
